The development of a Cold-Chain within the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC), with a focus on Iran’s transit routes, plays a vital role in improving efficiency, reducing losses, and enhancing the competitiveness of this corridor. With the growing movement of temperature-sensitive goods, the expansion of standardized cold chain infrastructure has become a strategic necessity.
Recognizing this importance , Behineh Tarabar Aria is expanding cold chain infrastructure along key transit routes. One of the company’s most significant initiatives is the construction of a dry container terminal in Incheh Borun, designed to serve as a logistics hub for destinations in the CIS countries. This initiative strengthens Iran’s role within the INSTC Corridor and facilitates the transit of temperature-controlled cargo.
The Incheh Borun Dry Port, currently under construction, is being developed on an area of over 6 hectares, based on precise planning and in compliance with international standards. Designed with a capacity exceeding 3,000 containers, the terminal incorporates dedicated cold chain and refrigerated container infrastructure, aiming to enhance logistics capabilities and facilitate the international transit of temperature-controlled and other cargo.
